Having returned to Shrewsbury for the autumn show and sale this month, we were delighted to secure the reserve female championship with Glenvale 1 Sara 798. April-2021 born, sired by Vexour 1 Palmer and out of a homebred Bosa 1 Hereward daughter. She later reached the second top price female of the day at 5200gns joining the Oxfordfordshire-based Rempstone herd of Michael and James Ludgate.
Next up was April-2022 born Glenvale 1 Angela 851. Again sired by Vexour 1 Palmer and out of a homebred Dendor 1 Ledley daughter she sold away to A Massey for 3900gns.
Our pen of four heifers averaged in excess of £4000, so we would like to thank all the buyers and underbidders on the day.
