We are delighted to announce the sale of Glenvale 1 Ferguson to Genus ABS.
Now this is some family! Ferguson comes from one of our superior cow families in the herd – the ‘Pollys’. The Polly’s are renowned for their maternal instincts, show ring success and for producing oceans of milk.
Ferguson’s maternal sister secured the top price female at the HCS Spring Sale in 2021, while his full sister has been part of our successful show team in 2022. Added to these success stories, his maternal brother won the April-born bull calf class at the HCBA Christmas Calf Show at the end of last year.
Ferguson’s sire is our past stock bull Vexour 1 Palmer who is residing in a pedigree Hereford herd in Ledbury after proving his worth at Studdolph. Ferguson’s replacement indexes are also in the top 5%.
